13. ಬೊಚ್ರವು ಹಾಳೂ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ಅಡವಿಯೂ ಶಾಪವೂ ಆಗುವದೆಂದು ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅಡವಿ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಾ ಗುವವೆಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

13. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನುಐತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನನಐ ಸಬಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಈ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳುವೆನು. ಙೊಚ್ರ ನಗರವನುಐ ನಾಶಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಆ ನಗರ ಒಂದು ಹಾಳು ದಿಘ್ಬವಾಗುವುದು. ಙೇರೆ ನಗರಗಳಿಗೆ ದುರ್ಗತಿ ಘರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಶಪಿಸುವಾಗ ಜನರು ‘ಙೊಚ್ರದಂತೆ ಹಾಳಾಗಲಿ’ ಎಂದು ಈ ನಗರದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯನುಐ ಕೊಡುವರು. ಜನರು ಈ ನಗರವನುಐ ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಙೊಚ್ರ ನಗರದ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಶಾಶಬತವಾಗಿ ಹಾಳುಬೀಳುವವು.”
