8. ಅವನು ಬಯಲು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿನ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಕೊಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ದಿಬ್ಬ ಹಾಕಿ ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುವನು;

8. ನೆಘೂಕದೆಐಚ್ಚರನು ನಿನಐ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳನುಐ (ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನುಐ) ಕೊಲ್ಲುವನು. ಅವನು ಘುರುಜುಗಳನುಐ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ನಿನಐ ನಗರವನುಐ ಧಾಳಿ ಮಾಡುವನು. ನಿನಐ ನಗರದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಕೋಟೆಗೋಡೆಯ ತನಕ ರಸ್ತೆಯನುಐ ತಯಾರಿಸುವನು.
