27. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಾದ ನಾನು ಮೂರ್ಛೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದೆನು; ಅನಂತರ ನಾನು ಎದ್ದು ಅರಸನ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ನಾನು ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ವಿಷಯ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಟ್ಟೆನು, ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

27. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಬಹಳ ಅಶಕ್ತನಾದೆನು. ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ತರುವಾಯ ಹಲವಾರು ದಿವಸ ನಾನು ಕಾಯಿಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದೆನು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಗುಣಹೊಂದಿ ರಾಜ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ದರ್ಶನದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕಲಕಿತು. ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ಅರ್ಥವೇನೆಂಬುದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
