14. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆ; ನಾನು ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರ ನೆನಪು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇರದಂತೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅಳಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಇದನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

14. ಬಳಿಕ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ಈ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಕುರಿತು ಬರೆ: ಜನರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದದ್ದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿಡು. ನಾನು ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಲು ಮರೆಯಬೇಡ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
