16. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೇರೊಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

16. ಆದರೆ ಅಹಾಬನು, “ಯೆಹೋವನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನೀನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವೆ. ನನಗೆ ನೀನು ನಿಜವನ್ನು ಹೇಳು! ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಲ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು? ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಿಳಿಸುವುದನ್ನೇ ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು!” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
