9:33. ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥವು ಆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ: “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಸಿಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಬಂಡೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಬಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವವನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಆಶಾಭಂಗ ಹೊಂದುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.” ಯೆಶಾಯ 8:14; 28:16

9:33. ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಡವುವ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸುವ ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಇಡುತ್ತೇ ನೆಂತಲೂ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವವನು ಆಶಾ ಭಂಗಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂತಲೂ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆ ಎಡವುವ ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಎಡವಿಬಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬದೇ.

9:33. just as it is written, "Look, I am laying in Zion a stone that will cause people to stumble and a rock that will make them fall, yet the one who believes in him will not be put to shame."

9:33. God warned them of this in the Scriptures when he said, "I am placing a stone in Jerusalem that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. But anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced."

9:33. even as it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

9:33. as it is written, "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."

9:33. As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

9:33. The Scriptures talk about that stone: "Look, I put in Zion a stone that will make people stumble. It is a rock that will make people fall. But anyone who trusts in him will never be disappointed."
