4:2. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

4:2. ಅಬ್ರಹಾ ಮನು ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾದ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಸ್ಪದವಿರುವದು; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

4:2. For if Abraham was declared righteous by the works of the law, he has something to boast about— but not before God.
