(17-18) “ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೆಂಡಿನಂತೆ ಉರುಳಿಸಿ ಬಹುದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಬೇರೊಂದು ದೇಶದ ತೆರೆದ ತೋಳುಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಸೆದುಬಿಡುವನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು, “ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ರಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ದೂರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೊಸ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ರಥಗಳಿವೆ. ಅವನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ರಥಗಳು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
