27. ಆದರೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸು ವಾಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರಗಳಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಗವಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಈವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು.

27. ಸೂರ್ಯಾಸ್ತಮಾನದ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಆ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮರದಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೋ ಅದೇ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿದರು. ಆ ಗುಹೆಯ ದ್ವಾರವನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಬಂಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು. ಆ ದೇಹಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಆ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ.
