4. ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳೂ ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಭಾರದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪು ದೋಷವು ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ತಪ್ಪೂ ಸಿಗಲಾರದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.

4. ಆದರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಟ್ಟರು. ಅವರು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೋಷಾರೋಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಕಾರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಮಾಡುವ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆದರೆ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ತಪ್ಪೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ದೋಷಾರೋಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕನೂ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಪಾತ್ರನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಬಹಳ ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ವಂಚನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
