12. ಆಗ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೇ, ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು. ಆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ;

12. ಆಮೇಲೆ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿನ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪುನಃ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು, “ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ನೀನು ಜ್ಞಾನಸಂಪಾದನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ದೇವರೆದುರಿಗೆ ಭಕ್ತಿವಿನಯಗಳಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನದಿಂದಲೇ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದೆನು.
