8. ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಗೊನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬನು ನೋಡಿ--ಕೆಡಿಸಬೇಡ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಉಂಟೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವದು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿ ಬಿಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

8. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ: “ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಹಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ರಸವು ಇರುವಾಗ ಜನರು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಂಡಿ ರಸವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯುವರು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
