17. ಆಗುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ಇರುವವರ್ಯಾರೋ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವದು.

17. ರಾಜನೂ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಲು ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಯಾವ ಜನರಾದರೂ ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆಗೆರೆಯುವದು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವದು.

17. ಲೋಕದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕುಲದವರು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ರಾಜಾಧಿರಾಜನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಳೆಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
