4. ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾ ಯನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು ವೆನು; ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಹಿಂತೆಗೆ ಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

4. ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು, “ನಾನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀವು ಬಯಸುವಿರೆಂಬುದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತು. ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದನು.
