14. ಆಯಿಯ ಅರಸನು ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜನರು ತ್ವರೆಪಟ್ಟು ಉದಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಬೈಲಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹಿಂದೆ ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವರನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದನು.
