14. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಅಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಈಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು; ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಬೋರಲು ಬಿದ್ದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

14. ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು, “ನಾನು ಶತ್ರುವಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿ. ನಾನು ಈಗಲೇ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ನೆಲದವರೆಗೂ ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕ. ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ನನಗೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆಯೇ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
