15. ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬಹಳ ವಾಗಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ--ಅವರ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಡ; ನಾನು ಅವರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗಾದರೂ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

15. ಇದರಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆ ಬಹಳ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಈ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಎಂದೂ ತೊಂದರೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡವನಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅವರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಬೇಡ” ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
