17. ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿರೀಟಧಾರಿಗಳು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ತಂಪಾದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಲಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಿಡತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಹುಟ್ಟುವಾಗ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗು ತ್ತವೆ; ಆಗ ಅವು ಎಲ್ಲಿರುವವೆಂದು ಅವುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಳವು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ;

17. ನಿನ್ನ ಸರಕಾರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಮಿಡತೆಗಳಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಚಳಿಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮಿಡತೆಯಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಬಿಸಿಲು ಏರಿ ಕಲ್ಲು ಬಿಸಿಯಾದಾಗ ಆ ಮಿಡತೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುವವು. ಅವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದವು ಎಂದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವರು.
