12. ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳು ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ದೇಶದವನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕ ದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನು ಈ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.
