21. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವ ರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ದೇಶದ ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳ ಅಶುಚಿಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು.

21. ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಇಸ್ರೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಊಟವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಉಳಿದವರು ಅನ್ಯರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಊಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಇಸ್ರೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
