19. ಸೀಸೆರನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ದಯ ವಿಟ್ಟು ನನಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರು ಕೊಡು, ನನಗೆ ದಾಹವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅವಳು ಹಾಲಿನ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದಳು.

19. ಸೀಸೆರನು ಯಾಯೇಲಳಿಗೆ, “ನನಗೆ ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಡು” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಯಾಯೇಲಳ ಬಳಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಚರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಂದು ಚೀಲವಿತ್ತು. ಆಕೆಯು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಳು. ಯಾಯೇಲಳು ಸೀಸೆರನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಗುಟುಕು ಹಾಲನ್ನೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು. ನಂತರ ಅವಳು ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಳು.
