4. ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕುಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರವರ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಪೂರ್ಣಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಎರಡು ಕುಲಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕುಲಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ದೊರೆಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿ ಕುಲದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸಲು ಕೆಲವು ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಊರುಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕುಲದ ಜನರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದವು. ಅವರ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು.
