28. ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಚೀದೋನಿಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದಲೂ, ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಚಯಸ್ಥರು ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದಲೂ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯದೊರಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೇತ್‌ರೆಹೋಬಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ದಾನ್ಯರು ಪುನಃ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.

28. ಲಯಿಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜನರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಚೀದೋನ್ ನಗರದಿಂದ ಬಹುದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವರೂ ಬರುವಂತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಲಯಿಷಿನವರು ಆರಾಮಿನ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಅವರೂ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೇತ್‌ರೆಹೋಬಿನ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈ ನಗರವನ್ನು ದಾನ್ಯರು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಆ ನಗರವು ಅವರ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನವಾಯಿತು.
