15. ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಆ ಜನರು ರಾಜನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು, “ಪ್ರಭುವೇ, ರಾಜನು ವಿಧಿಸಿದ ಯಾವ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಯಾಗಲಿ, ನಿಯಮವಾಗಲಿ ರದ್ದಾಗಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ಧರ್ಮಸೂತ್ರವು ಮೇದ್ಯಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಪಾರಸಿಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಂಟೆಂಬುದು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ರಾಜನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡಲೇ ಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. [PE][PS]
