2. “‘ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೇ, ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಕೇಳು. ಪಾರಸಿಯ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೂರು ಜನ ರಾಜರು ಆಳುವರು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ರಾಜನು ಬರುವನು. ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ರಾಜನು ತನಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಆಗಿ ಹೋದ ಪಾರಸಿಯ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲ ರಾಜರಿಗಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕ ಧನವಂತನಾಗಿರುವನು. ಆ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಧನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಗ್ರೀಸ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು.
