7. [‡ 2 ಕೊರಿ 3:9, ರೋಮಾ. 4:15] ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊರೆಯಲಾದ ಮೃತ್ಯುಕಾರಕವಾದ ಈ ಶಾಸನ ಅಷ್ಟು ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗುವಂಥದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ದಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
