17. ಅದೋನೀಯನು, “ರಾಜನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ನೀನು ಏನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆಂಬುದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಶೂನೇಮಿನ ಅಬೀಷಗ್ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
