31. ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರೇಲರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ಉಪಕರಣವನ್ನೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಆ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗ ಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
