17. ಕೇಳದೆಯೂ ನೀನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡದೆಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಎದುರುಬಿದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ದಾಸತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಮನ್ನಿಸುವ ದೇವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೃಪಾಪೂರ್ಣನೂ ಅಂತಃ ಕರಣವೂ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿಯೂ ಮಹಾದಯೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೈ ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
