1. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನುಐತ್ತಾನೆ: “ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ; ಈ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಘಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನಗರದ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ. ಸತ್ಯಶೋಧಕನೂ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕನೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವನೋ ನೋಡಿ. ಕೇವಲ ಒಘ್ಬ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾನು ಇಡೀ ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮನುಐ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
