12. ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಪೂರ್ವ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಗಾಯಕರು ನಿಂತರು. ಆಸಾಫನ, ಹೇಮಾನನ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಗಾಯಕ ವೃಂದದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾಯಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಿಳೀ ನಾರುಮಡಿಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ತಾಳ, ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾಯಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೂರಿಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಯಾಜಕರು ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯನ್ನೂದಿದರು.
