2. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮುವೇಲನು, “ನಾನು ಹೊರಟರೆ ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ ಈ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗ ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ” ಎಂದನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು, “ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು. ನಿನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಒಂದು ಎಳೆಕರುವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗು. ‘ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು.
