27. ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವವರೂ ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳೂ ಆತನನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರಾ ಯಣವಾಗುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಗ್ರಹಿಸದೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡಿ ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೇ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.

27. ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನಾಯಕರು ಯೇಸುವೇ ರಕ್ಷಕನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ದಿನದಂದು ಓದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡಿದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು!
