39. ಮೃಗಗಳಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಾರದೆ ಅವುಗಳ ನಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ಹೊತ್ತೆನು. ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿ.

39. ಕ್ರೂರ ಮೃಗಗಳು ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ಸತ್ತುಹೋದ ಪಶುವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಂದು, ‘ಇದು ನನ್ನ ತಪ್ಪಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಳುವು ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಕಳುವಾದ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
