4. ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಿಗಿಲುಪಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವು; ಯೆಹೂದವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು; ಅವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ದು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವನು.

4. ಅದು ನಿನಐ ಹೆಸರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ: ‘ನಾನು ತಕ್ಷಣ ನಿನಐನುಐ ನಿನಗೆ ಭಯಂಕಾರಿಯನಾಐಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ನಿನಐನುಐ ನಿನಐ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೆಐಹೀತರಿಗೆ ಭಯಂಕಾರಿಯನಾಐಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ವೈರಿಗಳು ಖಡ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನಐ ಸೆಐಹೀತರನುಐ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದನುಐ ನೀನು ನೋಡುವೆ. ಯೆಹೂದದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರನುಐ ನಾನು ಙಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನುಐ ಙಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವನು; ಅವನ ಸೈನಿಕರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನುಐ ತಮ್ಮ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವರು.
