2. ಯೋಷೀಯನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಂತೆ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
