14:37. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸೌಲನು ದೇವರನ್ನು, “ನಾವು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೇ? ನಾವು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವಿಯೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಆ ದಿನ ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

14:37. ಸೌಲನು--ನಾನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಹೋಗಲೋ? ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಿಯೋ ಎಂದು ದೇವರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಕೊಡದೆ ಹೋದನು.
