1:17. ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವಲ್ಲೇ ನಾನೂ ಸಾಯುವೆನು; ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಮರಣವು ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿಸಬಲ್ಲದು” ಎಂದು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದಳು.

1:17. ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುತ್ತೀಯೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಸತ್ತುಹೂಣಲ್ಪಡುವೆನು. ಮರಣವು ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿಸದ ಹೊರತು ನಾನು ಅಗಲಿದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದಳು.
