17:5. ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೀಕನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಮಂದಿರವಿತ್ತು. ಮೀಕನು ಏಫೋದನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪೂಜಿಸಲು ತನ್ನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅರ್ಚಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

17:5. ಈ ವಿಾಕ ಎಂಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮನೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಏಫೋದನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಜಕ ನಾದನು.
