1:24. ಆ ಗೂಢಚಾರರು ಬೇತೇಲ್ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಗರದಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರು. ಗೂಢಚಾರರು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಮಗೆ ಈ ನಗರದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಗುಪ್ತಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸು. ನಾವು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನೀನು ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ದಯೆತೋರುವೆವು” ಎಂದರು.

1:24. ಪಾಳತಿಯವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸು; ನಾವು ನಿನಗೆ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆವು ಅಂದರು.

1:24. the spies spotted a man leaving the city. They said to him, "If you show us a secret entrance into the city, we will reward you."

1:24. They confronted a man coming out of the town and said to him, "Show us a way into the town, and we will have mercy on you."

1:24. And the watchers saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Show us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will deal kindly with thee.

1:24. While the spies were watching the city of Bethel, they saw a man come out of the city. The spies said to the man, "Show us a secret way into the city. We will attack the city. But if you help us, we will not hurt you."

1:24. The watchers saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said to him, Show us, we pray you, the entrance into the city, and we will deal kindly with you.
