2:9. “ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಕಟಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ನೀನು ಬಡವನೆಂಬುದೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ. ನಿನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೆಲವು ಜನರು ಹೇಳುವ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿವೆ. ಆ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಜವಾದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಸೈತಾನನ ಸಮಾಜದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

2:9. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನೂ ಬಡತನವನೂ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; (ಆದರೂ ನೀನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನೇ). ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವವರ ದೂಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಅವರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲ, ಸೈತಾನನ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದವರಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ.

2:9. 'I know the distress you are suffering and your poverty (but you are rich). I also know the slander against you by those who call themselves Jews and really are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
