9:5. ಅವರು ಹಳೆಯ ಪಾದರಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಹಳೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಒಣಗಿದ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಬಹುದೂರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಬಂದವರಂತೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

9:5. ತೇಪೆಹಾಕಿದ ಹಳೇ ದಾದ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು, ಹಳೇ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಒಣಗಿದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು

9:5. They had worn-out, patched sandals on their feet and dressed in worn-out clothes. All their bread was dry and hard.
