1:13. ಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು, “ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬಾರದು. ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಲಾರದು. ದೇವರು ತಾನಾಗಿಯೇ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಶೋಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

1:13. ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಶೋಧನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಾಗ--ಈ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯು ನನಗೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಹೇಳಬಾರದು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿಸಲಾರನು; ಆತನು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಶೋಧಿಸುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

1:13. Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
