8:13. ದೇವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೊದಲನೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಯಾವುದು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದಾಗುತ್ತದೋ ಅದು ಅದೃಶ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು.

8:13. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು--ಹೊಸಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅದು ಹಳೇದಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾ ಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

8:13. When he speaks of a new covenant, he makes the first obsolete. Now what is growing obsolete and aging is about to disappear.

8:13. When God speaks of a "new" covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.

8:13. In that he saith, A new covenant he hath made the first old. But that which is becoming old and waxeth aged is nigh unto vanishing away.

8:13. In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
