4:3. ನಮಗಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀವು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ. ಜನರಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾದ ಸಂದರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಆತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ. ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುವ ರಹಸ್ಯಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಬೋಧಿಸಲಾಗುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಈ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರಿಂದಲೇ ಈಗ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

4:3. ನಾವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾದ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೆರೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ; ಇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ನಾನು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ;
