1:22. ಈಗಲಾದರೊ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಶರೀರಧಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ಕೊಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿಮಗೂ ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಸಂಧಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಷ್ಕಳಂಕರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

1:22. ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥೂಲ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾದ ಮರಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

1:22. but now he has reconciled you by his physical body through death to present you holy, without blemish, and blameless before him—

1:22. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
