1:21. ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಬೇರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿರಿ, ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಿರಿ.

1:21. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯರೂ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ದ್ವೇಷ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಿರಿ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಈಗ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಧಾನಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

1:21. And you were at one time strangers and enemies in your minds as expressed through your evil deeds,

1:21. This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions.

1:21. And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,

1:21. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,

1:21. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

1:21. And you, who once were estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,

1:21. And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, yet now hath he reconciled

1:21. And you -- once being alienated, and enemies in the mind, in the evil works, yet now did he reconcile,

1:21. At one time you were separated from God. You were his enemies in your minds, because the evil you did was against him.

1:21. You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,
