24:18. ನೀವು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡ ಗುಲಾಮರಾಗಿದ್ದುದನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ದಯೆ ತೋರಿಸಬೇಕು.

24:18. ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸನಾಗಿದ್ದಿ ಎಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ ನೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
