1:42. “ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ: ‘ಆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹೇಳು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿಬಿಡುವರು!’

1:42. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡ ಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯ ಲ್ಪಡುವಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

1:42. But the LORD told me: "Tell them this: 'Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you and you will be defeated by your enemies.'"

1:42. "But the LORD told me to tell you, 'Do not attack, for I am not with you. If you go ahead on your own, you will be crushed by your enemies.'

1:42. And Jehovah said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.
