5:27. ಮಹಿಮಾಪೂರ್ಣಳಾದ ಕನ್ನಿಕೆಯೊ ಎಂಬಂತಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ತನಗೇ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನು ಪ್ರಾಣಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಸಭೆಯು ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮತ್ತು ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವಾಗಲಿ ಪಾಪವಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಲಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿರಕೂಡದೆಂದು ಆತನು ಪ್ರಾಣಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

5:27. ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳಂಕ ಸುಕ್ಕು ಇಂಥಾದ್ದು ಯಾವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವೂ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಸಭೆಯ ನ್ನಾಗಿ ತನಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
